We got some of these with the Bluecoats last year, too. My gloves lasted me ALL summer, becoming my performance gloves. Then, last winter, I used those same gloves as rehearsal gloves for my season with Elysian Independent Open Winter Guard. Even better, they're STILL like new (with the exception of one little missing piece of foam...) Thank you SO much for this incredible product! I'll DEFINITELY be recommending them to ALL of my guard friends! (Not to mention buying several pairs for myself :-))

My daughter is a freshman at Southaven High School in Southaven, Mississippi. She has been in the indoor and marching guard since she was a 7th grader. Our guard started as a small group of students and a coach. Our coach has now grown our indoor into over 100 girls in three different levels. In my daughter's 7th grade year they place 3rd in state. Our school district has grown to be the largest in the state of Mississippi and our band ,directed by Andy Sanders, and indoor winter guard, directed by Missy Jenkins, has now won state competitions for the last two years in a row! Our indoor placed 8th at regionals in Nashville this year, which is the first time in indoor history a MS school has made finals! We are now planning for OHIO! World will be a major learning experience for our girls and we are fund raising like crazy. With all that said, we have 12 of the most dedicated girls I have ever known and I and the other parents could not be more proud of our teenagers. They would benefit from the gloves more than you could ever know. We are looking forward to the years to come and what our girls can accomplish.

Even after working with gloves for a long time, there is still that stiffness that is there from accumulated sweat and dirt. My new members always complain about the time it takes to break in a new pair. And, we frequently take our gloves off for lyrical work during our show, which is sometime very hard to do in a short amount of time because the gloves feel glued to the hand because they are wet. As one girl put it, she can't leave hers in her car because of the smell the next day. Having a glove we can wash and still have it user freindly will help a great deal in our performance. My students are anxious to try them. I also run a camp called Frontlines for visual ensembles and drum majors. I would like the opportunity to have them available for my instructional staff and for the 200 students who come to my camp to try.

I have a group of 14 members who would definitely benefit from the Everdri gloves. I have two high school seniors and the others are freshmen and middle schoolers. So we are starting from scratch. These gloves would DEFINITELY help my younger members in learning the basics and not complaining about blisters because they don't use gloves at all or using gloves and then complaining about how smelly and hot they are! So if you can imagine 12 middle schoolers complaining you understand why I would definitely would LOVE to get my hands on some of these! We are a high school color guard in South Carolina where the summers are hot and humid and we need something new that will help our younger members feel more comfortable (or as comfortable as you can be in the middle of July in South Carolina). The fact they are machine washable is a god-send for us! Thanks so much for making these gloves! Westside High School, Anderson, SC

I am excited about these gloves based on the fact that they are machine washable. With the constant use of the gloves and the sweat produced, the odors were truly terrifying. My girls would try hand wash their leather gloves and they would become rock solid. Living in the humidity of the south these gloves are going to be a perfect fit for us. Thank you for taking the time to develop a product that will offer guards a better chance to succeed.

Like most other guards, my girls complain about the yucky feeling of a wet leather glove...and the smell is enough to make a grown man cry. We've tried having 2 pairs of gloves (one for practice and one for performances), but the girls don't handle their equipment as well with the performance-only gloves because they aren't broken in like the practice gloves (ugh!).
Having gloves that can be used repeatedly without the wetness and smell is a dream come true. Thank you for creating this new product!

The NF guard has been using the traditional leather gloves. The biggest complaint that I get from the girls is that their gloves smell so bad after only a few rehearsals! It will be great to have a glove that can be machine washed and still hold their shape and functionality. Thanks for taking the time to listen to guard members and working towards improving the performance arts!
Guard Sponsor

Hi there,
When I use traditional guard gloves they make my hands all hot and sweaty so then I end up taking them off so I can get a better grip on the rifles and or flags. I think the Everdri glove would be perfect because it would be comfortable and will keep my hands dry and allow me to keep a good grip.
